Challenge: Drilling perfectly aligned holes manually was difficult and error-prone. Professionals and DIY enthusiasts struggled to achieve consistent precision, leading to wasted materials and time.
Solution: Morpho helped design and manufacture The Core — a laser-guided alignment system built for professional and home use. Through our Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Component Control Method (CCM), Morpho validated the design, engineered robust injection molds, and optimized assembly for large-scale production.
Outcome: Bullseye Bore raised $623,211 on Indiegogo and $534,211 on Kickstarter, surpassing its initial $20,000 goal. With over 8,000 backers, the product revolutionized drilling accuracy and consistency. The Core was honored with the 2024 Red Dot Innovative Product Award, cementing its position as the new standard in precision drilling.
