Challenge, Solution, Outcome
Challenge: High-fidelity headphone enthusiasts wanted a unique, warm, and rich sound profile typically found in high-end audio setups — but in a portable format.
Solution: Morpho helped design and manufacture Écoute, integrating a Korg 6P1 vacuum tube amplifier into a premium set of headphones. Our engineers ensured durability, acoustical integrity, and manufacturability through Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Component Control Method (CCM) processes.
Outcome: Successfully launched via Kickstarter and Indiegogo, Écoute raised $207,052 on Kickstarter and $284,147 on Indiegogo, surpassing its $10,001 goal with support from over 1,100 backers.
The headphones received acclaim from audiophiles for their unmatched analog sound and made their debut at CES and NAMM, establishing Écoute as a category-defining innovation in audio design.
